Pete Fij & Terry Bickers at the Rialto gallery
A week ago today, Pete Fij and Terry Bickers played at the Rialto on the Brighton date of their tour to support their new album We Are Millionaires, and we were privileged to be invited along. The album is a beautiful thing, not nearly as downbeat as Pete and Terry described it on the night. Sure, it’s not a cheery pop album, but it’s more reflective than depressing, and the thing that we loved was the quality of the songwriting an musicianship on show. September Gig Preview
One of these days we’ll get around to posting our gig preview posts at the end of the previous month rather than a few days into the new month. Not this month though. If I was on the ball, I’d have posted about ZOFFF’s gig at the Prince Albert last Sunday, where they were joined onstage by Terry Bickers and Jo Spratley and lit by Innerstrings.
