Here’s our first new music post for a couple of weeks. Who knows what was going on last week, but we were really light on releases. This weekend, being a bumper bank holiday weekend, we’ve got more tracks than usual to blog about.
We don’t get out to nearly enough gigs (if there weren’t other priorities we might be at the Hope & Ruin watching Arxx right now), and we certainly don’t get to enough gigs armed with a camera, but we did make it along to the launch of Projector‘s new single Go Ahead at the Rialto last Friday. Here’s this week’s new music post, which starts a bit differently from normal because the first track I wanted to share isn’t online as far as I can see – It’s the Record Store Day release from Blood Red Shoes’ Jazz Life record label, and the release is called AA Sessions Volume One. It features contributions from AK/DK, Blood Red Shoes, Tigercub, Sick Joy and Projector. Hopefully by the time you read this they might still have a copy at Resident.
