As promised, here’s our second new music post of the week, kicking off with The Modes who have just released their new EP Parallels. This is EP opener Too Early:
Next up is The Watermelons. Best of You isn’t out until the middle of next month (as a single on 13th July then as the lead track on an EP of the same name on 20th) but you can hear it here now. The band are playing plenty of dates in London at the moment, but none in Brighton that we could spot.
Young Tide are a new band split between London and Brighton, who feature a member of a band who we wrote about a lot but who seem to have erased all past online evidence so probably don’t want us to bring that up. Anyway, their first track is the summery electro-pop of NSFW:
Gøspel are also another London / Brighton band who have a new single out this week. The dreamy Ain’t Gonna Let You In is out digitally instead of buying it from iTunes head over to bandcamp where you also get extra track “Other Side” for only twenty pence more.
To finish with, we’ve got two very different remixes by two very different Brighton acts. The Fiction Aisle have turned their hand to Piney Gir‘s Gold Rules, and Ital Tek twiddle the knobs for Indian Wells‘ Games in the Yard:
