Every other blog post made today is probably a spooky Halloween themed blog post, but for us the date being the thirty first signifies that it’s time for our next new music post. Sometimes we that by a day or two, but we’ve got our housein order because the first gig to plug is a night called In Heaven Everything Is Fine, being put on tomorrow night (Thursday 1st November) by Super8Sync at The Nightingale Room above Grand Central. Nick Hudson (from The Academy of Sun), Mudlow, Seadog and Blatnova are all on the bill, accompanied by visuals from Cinema Iloobia and TAOS films.
There’s two gigs to mention on Thursday 8th November, both of which are EP launches. Projector play their biggest Brighton gig to date at The Haunt, launching their How Does It Feel EP, supported by LibraLibra and Ditz. Meanwhile, over at the Richmond, which seems to be doing a great job of re-establishing itself as a music venue rather than just a pub, Wax Machine are playing a gig to celebrate the launch of their new EP Mind Palace.
Finally, It’s Dana from Porridge Radio’s birthday on Saturday 10th, so Brighton Noise are putting on a special matinee gig to celebrate from 2pm until 5.30. There’s a threat of Porridge Radio playing happy birthday for half anhour, which you’ll have to go to the gig to find out how real that threat is. Support comes from Canadian Embassy, The Tubs and SUEP.
