New Brighton Music

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve done a new music roundup. There’s doesn’t seem to be quite as much music coming out as there was a couple of months back for some reason, but there’s still plenty for us to write about. We would write about the new Tigercub track Destroy, leaner and more angular than some of their melodic tracks, but we can’t share the stream. You’ll have to click here to go over to soundcloud and listen for yourself.

Dog in the Snow have contributed to the 405 Alanis Morrissette Jagged Little Pill cover project. The album was 20 years old last month, and Helen has put her mark on Right Through You

Today’s Song of the Day over at the Line of Best Fit is the new Demob Happy track called  Wash it Down. Read more about the track and the band’s political stance here.

Miamigo have shared another track from their Hard to Love EP. Irreversible is the second track on the release. They’ve also put up a mix of some of their favourite tracks which you can stream over on Mixcloud, entitled Songs to Dance Alone To.

Jolta‘s latest offering is a track called Pushy Behaviour is Fabulous. It’s also a free download for now too:

Strange Cages new single comes out next monday and is called Pony. Artrocker premiered the stream, and Clash premiered the video. Sorry we’re a bit late to the party guys.

We posted the lead track from The Watermelons Best of You EP in our last new music post. They’ve now shared the rest of the tracks which get a full release next monday. Here’s If You Want To Love Me:

MonoMan‘s new EP Bloom comes out on 27th July, and once again features Molly Bainbridge on vocals. Here’s the title track:

Last but by no means least, here’s Oslo Parks new track Slipping Away which went live yesterday.
