Our first tune is what was described as Anneka‘s first track of 2018 (which we’re taking to imply that there will be more to come). Burst was released today and is available by signing up on Anneka’s website or via bandcamp:
Next up is the new one from Normanton Street which came out last Friday. It’s a downtempo number called Unclear, and also came with a promise of “so much more new music on the way”
Getting Along is the new single from The Magic Gang. It’s taken from their self titled debut album which will be released on March 16th.
Pablo’s Ashtray is the first taster of the debut mini EP from Night Vision, soon to be released on Echochamp records
Fresh from supporting Tigercub at the Concorde, Glum have released their Compassion Fatigue EP. You can catch the band again on 22nd February at Green Door Store.
Porshyne premiered their new single Miles Away over on Clash Music today. The launch party will be at the Green Door Store next Monday (19th) with support coming from Vrona and My-Hi
Twilight Driving don’t seem to be embracing the Valentines spirit with their new release When Love Goes Wrong which has come out today. You can catch Twilight Driving supporting Orchards at the Hope & Ruin tomorrow night.
Grace Carter‘s new single Silhouette came out last Friday. The piano led ballad has been shared in advance of Grace’s debut EP which is due in the spring
Freja Frances‘ new release Papercuts is also another pared back piano led track. It comes backed with a remix from Alex Hughes which sprinkles some electronica flourishes over things. You can catch Freja at Maggie Maes on 28th February.
Finally we have Mr Jones & His Guitar, who releases his Somewhere New EP on 9th March. The launch takes place the following dat at the Brunswick. The EP features My Metal Friend which Mr Jones has paired with a video from Animation Workshop:
