New Brighton Music

As promised yesterday, this week’s new music comes in two doses, and here’s the second.

Today’s post starts with the flip side of the record that started yesterday’s post. Pogo by Octopuses is the double A side that accompanies the new track from Milk & Biscuits, out on 1st June on Lick Music:

Theo Verney‘s new single comes out on 8th June. It’s called Brain Disease, and it’s being released on limited red vinyl, cd and download. The launch gig is at the Green Door Store on 10th June, and you can pre-order it here now.

Next up we have the new single from Common Tongues. New Moon is released on 9th June and comes with a new b-side Overturning.

Roman Scott‘s new EP How Long’s It Gunna Take is out this week. First track on the EP is a cover of Craig David’s Seven Days:

Local promotors / label Cupboard Music have put out the new EP from Last Chance Dance Band. The EP is entitled Yes Yes Yes There Is a Light, which is also the name of the fourth track:

Champion Fever has uploaded some more electronica to soundcloud. Here’s his latest track Engage:

Last but by no means least is another Soundcloud find, from Sam Organ, posting under his own name rather than Physics House Band or Mount Bank. This is called Mirrors and sounds a bit like a New Order b-side from around 1990:
