Kicking off this week’s new music post is the latest track from David Harks, who featured in last year’s top ten tracks (which reminds us, we really should think about getting something together for this year). Tripping Ghosts is a more ethereal affair, mirroring the reflective nature of the lyrics. It’s out now on Jumjum records, backed with a remix by French duo Loframes:

Tuska‘s debut single Fine comes out tomorow. The track is three and a half minutes of psych-pop owing no small debt to Tame Impala, and you can get yourself a free download of the track by signing up on the band’s website.

Bunty always brings a bit of joy to the blog and her new single Mysterious Fruit is no exception. The track sounds like some kind of 25th century electronic nursery rhyme and is available to buy on download or cassette from her Bandcamp page.

We should have posted about Oktoba weeks and weeks ago, but they almost slipped through the net while we were being distracted by life. He recently released his debut album Smoke Signals, which was produced by Tim Bidwell, who regularly features on these pages. Here’s the video for the lead single Tongue Tied, which actually only went up online today:

And we couldn’t put up a new music post without IYES latest cover version. This time they’ve shared a glitchy soulful take on The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face, offering the track up as a free download on Soundcloud.
